For the last five years, an independent record store has closed in the UK every three days. But in one of England’s most deprived areas lies a cultural haven where Sound It Out Records thrives against the odds. Directed by Jeanie Finlay (who grew up three miles from the titular shop), SOUND IT OUT surveys the obsessive, often eccentric community of locals who keep it alive.
