I funded this project because i think the local record shop is a vital part of people’s lives that is rapidly disappearing. the hours I’ve spent in record shops over the years and the pleasure I’ve taken in buying and listening to the music I’ve bought makes this vanishing treat something that needs to be recorded for posterity. Plus if the documentary raises the profile of tom’s shop then that’s even better! As long as he doesn’t raise his prices!!
